Restaurant Manager

Vietflames is looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the team at our Vietnamese bar and eatery in Sylvia Park, Mount Wellington. We are open seven days from 11am until late, serving authentic Vietnamese food, drinks and cocktails. You will run the restaurant day to day and make sure every guest has a warm, smooth experience. What you will do: - Lead the front of house and bar team through daily service. - Build rosters and match staffing to trading. - Train new staff and keep service standards consistent. - Look after guests, bookings and feedback, and resolve issues on the floor. - Manage stock and ordering for front of house and the bar. - Handle cash-up and daily reporting, and help control costs. - Make sure the restaurant meets health and safety, food safety and alcohol licensing rules. What we are looking for: - Experience managing or supervising in a busy restaurant or bar. - A current Manager's Certificate for alcohol licensing, or able to get one. - Confident leading a team and calm under pressure. - Able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays. - Able to work legally in New Zealand.
