Assistant Retail Manager

Luna Cafe and Eatery is looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to help run our cafe, 30 Chancery Street, Auckland CBD 1010. You will run the shop floor day to day: looking after customers, keeping the shelves full and tidy, and leading the team when the manager is away. What you will do: - Serve customers and make sure everyone leaves happy, handling questions and complaints calmly. - Keep shelves and displays stocked, priced and tidy, and check deliveries against orders. - Help with ordering, stock counts and keeping waste down. - Roster and coach the team, and open and close the cafe, including the daily cash-up. What we are looking for: - Retail or hospitality experience, ideally as a supervisor or assistant manager. - Strong customer service and a good eye for a tidy, well-stocked shop. - Confident with stock, ordering and handling cash. - Organised, reliable and calm when it gets busy. - Availability to work weekends.
