Assistant Retail Manager

Mr T's Baked Goods & Eatery is looking for an Assistant Retail Manager to help run our bakery, 210 Onehunga Mall, Onehunga, Auckland 1061. You will run the shop floor day to day: looking after customers, keeping the shelves full and tidy, and leading the team when the manager is away. What you will do: - Serve customers and make sure everyone leaves happy, handling questions and complaints calmly. - Keep shelves and displays stocked, priced and tidy, and check deliveries against orders. - Help with ordering, stock counts and keeping waste down. - Roster and coach the team, and open and close the bakery, including the daily cash-up. What we are looking for: - Retail or hospitality experience, ideally as a supervisor or assistant manager. - Strong customer service and a good eye for a tidy, well-stocked shop. - Confident with stock, ordering and handling cash. - Organised, reliable and calm when it gets busy. - Availability to work weekends.
