Food Cart Assistant

Mama's Kitchen, a Vietnamese food cart in Oneroa on Waiheke Island, is looking for a Food Cart Assistant for the busy season. You will help prepare and serve Vietnamese street food from the cart beside the main Oneroa car park. What you will do: - Serve customers at the counter, take orders and process payments. - Make and wrap rolls, bowls and takeaway orders to our standard. - Restock the counter and cabinet through the day. - Keep the counter, tables and front area clean. - Follow food safety and hygiene rules. What we are looking for: - Friendly, quick and good at speaking English. - Food retail or hospitality experience is an advantage. - Happy to work as part of a small team. - Able to get to Oneroa, Waiheke Island for each shift. - Able to work a roster that includes evenings, weekends and public holidays. - Able to work legally in New Zealand.
