About the role
Mekong Delta is a Vietnamese restaurant in Hamilton. We are looking for a Chef to join our kitchen team and cook fresh, authentic Vietnamese food for our customers. You will prepare and cook dishes from our menu, keep the kitchen clean and well organised, and help the team through busy services.
What you will do
- Prepare and cook dishes from our menu to a consistent standard
- Prep ingredients and keep stock rotated
- Keep the kitchen clean and follow food safety rules
- Work with the team through busy lunch and dinner services
What you will need
- Experience as a chef or cook in a commercial kitchen
- Knowledge of Vietnamese or Asian cooking is an advantage
- Able to work evenings and weekends
- The right to work in New Zealand
