Baker

Mr T's Baked Goods & Eatery is looking for a Baker to join our team, 210 Onehunga Mall, Onehunga, Auckland 1061. You will bake our breads, pastries and cakes fresh every day, so the counter is full and the quality stays the same from the first customer to the last. What you will do: - Prepare doughs, batters and fillings, and bake breads, pastries and cakes to our recipes. - Start early so the counter is stocked for opening, and keep baking through the day as stock runs low. - Keep the bakery clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards. - Keep an eye on ingredient stock and let the manager know what needs ordering. What we are looking for: - Experience as a baker or in a commercial kitchen. Experience with Vietnamese baking (banh mi bread, pastries) is useful but not essential. - Knowledge of food hygiene and safe handling. - Reliable, organised and happy with early starts. - Availability to work weekends.
