Kitchen Hand

Banh Mi Kitchen in central Christchurch is looking for a Kitchen Hand. We make banh mi, pho, spring rolls and noodle salads for dine-in, takeaway and delivery. What you will do: - Wash, peel and cut vegetables, herbs and meat for the cooks. - Wash dishes, pots and kitchen equipment and keep the kitchen tidy. - Help plate and pack takeaway orders during busy periods. - Put away deliveries and keep the chiller and dry store organised. - Follow food safety and hygiene rules. What we are looking for: - Kitchen experience is welcome but not essential; we will train you. - Quick, tidy and happy to work as part of a small team. - Able to stand for long periods and lift deliveries. - Able to work a roster that includes evenings, weekends and public holidays. - Able to work legally in New Zealand.
